Since 2001 the ''Archäologische Institut''of the university of Freiburg is carrying out excavations in the southern part of the city. These are part of the project ''Archäologische Untersuchungen zur frühen Siedlungsgeschichte von Thugga'' led by PD Dr. Stefan Ritter.
We were commissioned to implement the recent state of excavation from a hand drawn plan into a digital schematic overall plan that is ready for publication.
A special part of the work was to latch some unevenly cut original details of the ink drawing into the schematic plan. Meanwhile the work is comlpeted.
