Last Saturday, 26th of April, the new Roman museum GÃ¼glingen was solemnly opened by Mayor Klaus Dieterich, Landrat Detlef Piepenburg and Professor Dr. Dieter Planck, President of the Regional Heritage Office. The completely new conceived museum in the former city hall is accessible for the broad public since Sunday. A visit is worthwhile itself: Not only because of the introductory film sequence by Digitale ArchÃ¤ologie on the roman settlement, but also because of the rich finds displayed in the museum.
